MISS TROPICANA - This delightful dame resplendent in her streetwise accoutrements was created as a digital collaged portrait and printed out in black and white. She was then coloured with spray paints and pencils and wheat pasted onto a collaged background comprised of old gig posters torn from city walls. Gold leaf was added and the whole shebang was finished with a thick layer of glassy resin. This artwork has a rough textured finish, created by built up layers, reflecting weathered artwork or posters on street walls that have been built up and layered over time. A bold colourful slice of the street in your home.
It is applied onto a stretched art quality canvas with collaged sides, so framing isn't essential. Ready to hang with a signed certificate of authenticity.
