This painting, a combination of hand-painting and screen-printing, is influenced by street art style on walls and old billboards, given a ripped and torn look with a weathered patina and three coats of high gloss sealant for a glassy finish. I wanted to make a collage of  fairly random retro images from the past, that were vaguely familiar, with suburban and pop culture references, and create a tight composition that worked as an abstract piece - so there are layers to it both visually and in a narrative sense. I was really pleased with the result which  I feel will resonate superbly in a room or a space.
The painting is professionally stretched on a quality wood subframe, ready to hang. The painting covers the sides, so doesn't require framing. It can be shipped as stretched canvas, or removed and sent as a rolled canvas.
